My dogs are going to do agility this summer. Only about 6 clock, so do not have the warmest hours of the day, but it could be about 80F.

Carpet cool I ordered it and thought about cooling vests read from someone here to ask.

These really work or just have a hot dog fur? Thank you.

Yes work, cooling shields. I know many people with thin Clean Run, and the like. Some use dried, but most of the wet and wet again as needed. You can put them in a dry dog or a wet dog, too.
Coats cooling to my team as a model that I saw and loved, but they were done too expensive to buy. Mine are synthetic suede. I found the fabric and suede Walmart, Checker Auto (in Auto Supply). I just cut the material with pinking shears and not Ravel Velcro closures are sewn in chest and abdomen. I have a ribbon cutting and they look great! Not too heavy and too expensive. They are like skins from here.

I think these people that dogs are even cooler than the standard white mesh. I'm wet and put them into a Ziploc bag and buries them in the refrigerator on ice. Put the dogs after the warm-up before the race to run, and then again inimmediately after. Then I re-wet as needed with a hose or immerse in ice water in my fridge. I have my dogs dry food for dogs to get wet with the hose. They work well, anyway! And wash them in the washing machine.
Hose my dogs in the belly and under the thigh and chest pads really helps keep dogs cool. If you know that it is not a pipe in a trial. I am a fountain. The pressure garden irrigation (in a pump used for spraying insecticides) works very well. You can use a gallon in 1-dollar-stores can be found in the season. Fans by fields of great help. Walmart has driven fans of the larger battery to function.
Good luck! And fun!

I won a jacket for cooling a lot of workers in the past year, the best draw for the workers. I have two mostly black border collie agility competition, despite rejection in July and August still very hot here in June and September (Mid-Atlantic Area), I think put his coat on a plastic bag in the cold, wet refrigerator until ready to build on dog run and help prepare shortly after his trip to cool the reflector dress with silver thread up and down the network believe that it really helps my son 9 years and 2 years of cooling after each race. I also use it during training in the summer, would you want a second.

I Bernese Mountain Dog - a very chaste heat intolerant. What I found works best, a simple spray bottle in the dog (I'm focusing on the head) and intensive wetting and soaking the body / abdomen and legs down. I have tried a variety of classes and have not been very effective.

I am sure that my dogs always drink - so that no fees for water at a time - which can cause swelling. I do not know how cold water, but gave them water to mine the bait (like fruit) in small amounts every 10 minutes or less.

Years ago I met a Samoyed in agility in more than 90 degree temperatures in Arizona. Hold your stomach is fairly quiet.

I should also mention - it is much easier on your dog if you are sure the dog to become accustomed to the temperature. A dog suddenly cooling only heat will create more problems than a dog that had) the opportunity for an extended period (week to acclimate. For me, it also means to leave my house a little warmer than it would be easy - but if I want my dogWorking in the heat should be used for this.
